  • 1990

    The deep end...

    Was the year I first picked up a camera, it was a semi automatic, I can't even remember the make, 25mm lens camera.
    I must have shot over 200 rolls between excursions to France and Greece that year.

  • 1992

    Introduction to TV, Radio and Movie Production

    This is the year I started my studies at Concordia University completing three majors four years later; including political science, journalism and communications.
    The courses included training in audio and video production spanning film, radio and television, communications theory and public relations.
    During this time I worked as a DJ, dancer, dance instructor, soundscape artist, producer and when given a photo camera...Hundreds of roles of film.

  • 2007

    The "media" guy

    While working for an insurance company as a home and auto insurance sales agent I got my first real opportunity to produce short videos and powerpoint presentations on a regular basis. These were shown on the closed circuit television system in the call center promoting upcoming events, milestones and sharing general information.
    Eventually I would become the coordinator of the Symon CCTV system creating templates, visuals and graphics.

  • 2014

    Pilgrimage

    While accompanying my wife on a pilgrimage, I started seeing my iPhone as a valid option and handy companion for capturing good quality photos and spur of the moment videos.
    I still used my Sony HDR-TD30 3D camcorder to film the nightly procession in all of it's virtual glory.

  • 2016

    My first

    This is when I get my first DSLM (digital single lens mirrorless) camera, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7, and start Szoltan Productions which would evolve over time to become ZINFINITE Media in 2023
